Terms of Service for Aivi

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Aivi, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

2. Description of Service

Aivi helps your Shopify store get discovered by AI search engines. The service includes:

• Auditing llms.txt quality and monitoring AI visibility for your store
• Providing a product discovery API for AI search engines to find and understand your products
• Tracking AI-driven traffic, revenue attribution, and search insights
• Monitoring your catalog's AI readiness

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

Aivi offers Free, Starter ($19/month), and Pro ($49/month) plans. All paid plans are billed through Shopify's Billing API. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
• Prorated refunds are applied per Shopify's billing policies
• No further charges will be applied

4. Data Access and Permissions

Aivi requires the following Shopify API scopes:

• read_products: To analyze your catalog for AI readiness
• read_orders: To attribute AI-discovered revenue
• read_inventory: To check product availability for AI discovery

We only access data necessary for the service and do not store sensitive customer PII. You retain full ownership of your store data.

5. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content and products in your store
• You must not use the Service for illegal activities
• You must keep your API access token secure and not share it with unauthorized parties
• You are responsible for configuring which AI visibility features are enabled for your store

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party services (Shopify, cloud providers).

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your store data. Aivi does not claim ownership of any data processed through our service. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Aivi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aivi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app. Upon termination:

• All API access will be revoked
• Your data will be deleted within 48 hours as described in our Privacy Policy
• No further charges will be applied

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
